Summary: It would be good to have a shademode of the object that includes the hidden lines in dashed lines when viewing a 3d model through a viewport from paper space to model space

Description: Shademode command - hidden detail viewed in dashed lines.When viewing a 3d model through a viewport from paper space to model space it would be good to have a shademode of the object that includes the hidden lines in dashed lines. Like the solprof command but as a shademode like hidden, gouraud shade, flat, wireframe etc.

How Used: Using hidden lines shademode would allow easier construction of drawings using the 3d model to dimension to and the hidden lines would give a better explenation view of the object viewed.

I read an article some time ago that spoke about the HLSettings command. Could this be what you are looking for? It allows the user to cause the the lines that are hidden with the hide command to show as other line types.
