Question Round Top vs. Arch Top

I was making a window surround in the family editor, a sweep with parameters for height, width and radius. The sweep works fine till it gets to a radius that would represent a true half circle and then constraints are not met. Not a big problem, but I was wondering why this is. Any suggestions?

Not sure, I do it all the time, make sure you are picking the wall opening for the path and not another piece of geometry that is allready using the wall opening for a ref. Also some profiles seem to have issues with curves, try a plain rectangle, if that works than revit doesn't like your profile.

I have found that using "quarter arcs" and not semicircles will allow the family to flex once it is built. Let me know if this works for you.
