I agree. Fantastic presentation techniques. Really beautiful. Sure makes a lot of renders look un-artistic!

Oh WOW. Ok.. fine.. I feel like **** now.... sheeesh.

Very nicestuff. It's a presentation technique that bridges that gap between those who like the 'by hand ' style and those who like the 'by computer style'.

My only question, or concern really, is: how long does something like this take? Or perhaps it's better put this way: How much extra time does it take to get this effect? What happens if the vantage point changes? I suppose I have to do this work all over again?

Please don't misconstrue.. I'm always interested in learning new techniques For those of you that use/know - Do the cars and people he's using come with SketchUp or do you have to get these separately? (and inside... my brain is running away to a deep dark corner... "noooooo - not another program to learn.")

PS - Roger, Thanks for the link.. I didn't know this forum existed! it's nice to know there are others out there! - K

    Kyle,

Heres a thread discussing Revit/Sketchup. Its really a straight forward conversion if the model is not too intense.sketchup thread

Pretty much my feeling as well ~ you missed his other stuff he did in Word then ~ not available now due to pushpull bar being wiped out ~

The guy puts a lot of effort in like all handdrafters do so it takes time but he is still incredibly fast because he has his system worked out ~ as far as I know (I stand to be corrected) he developed those people and cars which has become his trademark

I agree the shortcoming in this technique is not being able to adjust the viewpoint ~ But it comes close to showing what I would like to be able to do within Revit

~ Now wouldn't that be the icing on the cake?

    Hey there,
Nice rendering. Definitely reminds me of my hand drawing pencil on bum wad presentations. Dang, I get all exited with Revit and now I miss the old way. Hmmmm, I guess the pencil is alway sharper on the other person's computer!

Great presentation and nice link Ski!!
