Default Delete a level - what is programmed behavior?

I need to delete a top of plate level in a residential model. There a bunch of walls and a few roofs that reference this level.

I want to know what the expected (programmed) behavior is when a level is deleted. Do walls attach to the next closest level? Do they get deleted? What about roofs? Floors?

I know I could go clean this up manually prior to the level deletion, just curious about what happens without spending that time.

Ok, just did an experiment with a simple file, a few walls, a roof, and a floor. Deleted the level and here was the behavior...

    Roof - was deleted
    Floor - was deleted
Walls (w/ top constraint matching deleted level) - became unconnected with a height that matched the height of the deleted level.
Walls (w/ bottom constraint matching deleted level) - were deleted

    Christopher,
Create a quick model and look at how it behaves. Walls will generally default to their 'unconnected' height. Floors and roofs associated with a level will be deleted. Roofs by extrusion don't seem to delete themselves. Stairs also seem to just reference their start level and adjust the value for top offset.
I'd suggest deleting a level without doing some tidying up first is a pretty drastic measure so I wouldn't take it lightly.

Under the properties of the roof and floor, change the level and offset so they don't get deleted.
