Is there a keystroke or toggle for "constrain" when using the move or copy command?

Yes, there is a check box in the options bar once you enter into the move or copy commands. The option bar is the one at the top of the editting window.

Holding down the "shift" key will also constrain when moving or copying

Thanks! It's the "shift" key toggle that I did not know about . This will help.
