    Default Plant Library---controlling groundcovers?

I don't know if the groundcover plant is what I truly need, but the ability to control it would be nice. Does anyone know how? How to know what size it will render?

A more important question is if there is a feature that I can use a plant from the plant library for a linear vine like creaper? I am thinking along an open truss?

Ok, like along the structure in the picture?

ohhh boy, sometimes I start threads that people find difficult to participate in.....
    I hope I am wrong!!!

    Peace,

No obvious solution springs to mind.

What if you made a plant that simply consisted of say 4-5 leaves (not site based) and arrayed it around your structure. Could work well?

    Luigi,

Here's a work around I did on a little presentation to a city for a metal building. Note that when you overlap the map for masking on the extrusions you get a "black" image. Look at the building image closely and you'll see the flaw, but in this case it comes off as a type of shadow.

This should give your creative side some ideas. The zip file has the jpgs and vine.mlb

Thanks Ski, I realized after opening it that you are rendering a solid with the vine material. I just need to create the solid as close as I want...

Do you have any suggestions about groundcovers? They're nice, but I don't know how to control the size...

    Take care,
    Luigi

ground cover is a 3ft x 3ft square approx. so I open a plant family and make a symbol line this size, then you can copy it around.

are all square, or it depends? I thought in my last attempt (an accustudio groundcover) it seemed to be a rectangula proportion

Frame posted a grass scenario here Not sure if it'll help with your ground cover issue.
