Unhappy Dimension points do not move when using the Move command

i am in a dilema how to resolve my problem, i've drawn the archetecture drawing of a G+1 Villa with diamension. the problem is i cannot move the drawing from one place to another. If i give select all and move all the entities will move except some of the diamension points!!!! that will retain in the original position and the line with diamension text will extend up to the new position.... there is anybody encountered this problem before.... please help me...

Hi "sudhirkizhakoote" (Sorry, I don't know your real name)

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Plotting forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

Question Re: Dimension points do not move when using the Move command

    Hi

Are all relevant Dimension defpoints included in your selection set when using the _.Move command?

If still no joy, please post a sample drawing file that exhibits the behaviour you have described above.

    Have a good one, Mike

The dimensions that do not move are all Rotated dimensions.
If you replace them (re-dimension) with Linear dimensions, the new dimensions do move.

Hi "sudhirkizhakoote" (Sorry, I don't know your real name)

Please note I "merged" your two threads that deal with exactly the same issue / problem.

In future please do not create multiple threads that deal with the same query, it makes the forum process that much more difficult for everyone concerned.

    Thanks, Mike
