Default medium detail level changes fill pattern

In version 8.1 I have a cmu masonry wall with a diagonal crosshatch fill pattern.

The wall displays properly at the coarse detail level. If I change the detail level to medium or fine the fill pattern changes to a concrete pattern (no crosshatch).

Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

    Thanks.

    Mike

Wall have coarse hacth pattern. And then at medium and fine display with the settings from the material used for the wall construction.

Use visibility graphics to set the wall back to coarse for that particular view.

    Aaron,

    Thanks for your reply.

Somehow the material setting got changed to concrete. I didn't realize it because it looked ok at the course setting.
