    Default Can't exit refedit

Has anyone seen an error like this come up when using a refedt and know any of the causes? I have someone who's seeing this error, and we don't know what's causing it. Unforunately, I can't see the file because they haven't saved in days and don't want to lose changes.

    Error Below

Cannot save back changes because objects in the working set reference objects outside of the working set. Press F2 after dismissing the dialog to see the list of missing references."

I have not seen this error. Is AutoCAD still creating an autosave? You might be able to recover from there.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

Thanks. We're trying to get the Autosave. But we;re not at his site and have to talk him through it. It's a little like trying to convince somone to jump from a burning building.

That's funny. Sorry to hear the predicament. I hope you are successful. Let us know if it works.

    Hi

See if the following threads from the Autodesk Discussion Groups offer any help...

Refedit Problems - cannot save changes?!

    Images in drawing templates

    Have a good one, Mike

Thanks for the help guys. I'll try some of the suggestions and see what we find out. I'm at a loss here. I'm curious to get a hold of the file and see what shows up.

I'll update the post if I find anything good.

As it turns out, the issue appears to magically disappeared. Once the user kicked out of the drawing (and got the autosave) and went back in things behaved swimmingly.

    I guess it's just a random feature....
