A Profile can't be deleted in option dialog box

I have a profile in my option dialog box profile tab that can't be deleted. I have tried several ways to delete but each time that I re-open my ADT the profile re-creates itself I have also tried deleting it in my windows folder, but it keeps coming back. How can I get rid of the profile?

I read the tread before and also had tried the following: Repair of the registry from add/remove programs, I have tried removing the icon properties profile path even if it is not the profile i want to remove. If i rename the profile and then delete it is gone until i re-open ADT. The profile name I am trying to remove has an underscore at the beginning of its name, but I don't think this is the problem or could it be? I tried all those other things in the tread from Steve related to palettes...This is a stubborn profile

Are you running off a network version? It sounds like the profile is being pulled from the network, then stored on your local drive. It may be a profile that's stored in your start up template or something that was set up in the front end of things. Just a thought.

No i am not on a network version, and my profile problem grew bigger each time i would create a new profile as I was unable to delete that newly created profile again. there must be something wrong with the first profile i was trying to delete to cause a chain of events?
Since i keep all my settings & files for ADT in separate folders, I decided it would be best to clean the files and re-install ADT instead of spending many more hours trying to figure it out? it now works fine but i try not to recreate any unwanted profiles again.
