Arrow Layer active in Model but not in Layout view

    Hi to all Auto-CAD users,

I'm just wondering why all the objects set to one of my layer as part of the drawing are active and showing on the Model Space but not on the Layout View/Paper Space.

But when I tried to edit and change the layer properties of the subject objects it appears as part of the drawing as viewed on layout page.

Do you think that layer was created in a deferent version or applications?

    Thanks,

    Ted (Detsenira)

Make sure that when you are in the Layout, click to model space and make sure that "Freeze in Current Viewport" is not selected in the layer pull down.

Thank You Mike, But I'm pretty sure that all my layers are all open and thawed. Any other option/clue ?

    Hi Ted

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the CAD Mgmt. General forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

    Hi

To echo's Mike Bradford's above post, try plugging the following search criteria into the forum search facility...

    Key Word(s): Freeze + Current + Viewport

If still no joy after working through the results obtained from the above search, please post the drawing file so we may take a look at the issue / problem first-hand.

    Have a good one, Mike

yes, but the freeze in current viewport is a separate icon in the layer manager, to the right of everything else, are you sure that it is not frozen there? You have to be double clicked in the viewport to see if it is frozen in that viewport.

Mike Bradford and CCowgill you guys are right that the button switch of the subject layer under the Current-V while in Model Space was turned-off when I'm probably using the slider of the Layer Manager. Thank you very much.
