Angry Importing Display Configuration from a Standard File

I am currently using ADT-2007 and while I do like the Synchronization tools I find that it does not bring in missing "Display Configuration", i.e. it only updates the ones in the current drawing and does not bring in ones missing that are in the standard file.
Does anyone know of a routine, process or program that will run through a project and update existing configurations and import missing ones into all the project files? I am aware that you can copy and past to do this, however, I am not going to sit and open, copy and paste every drawing in all of our projects. Any help would be great!!!

    Hi "jgardner.79905"

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the CAD Mgmt. General forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

ootb, no. You'd have to build either a lsp routine to do that upon opening or a vba app to process that.

You may have to do that - or copy the contents out to a new file started with a template that has the latest and greatest display settings.

John Janzen had developed a program that could push Display Representations between files [back when you could not do that if a DR with the same name already existed in the file]. His website indicates versions for 2004 & 2005; I suspect that when ADT gained the ability to drag-n-drop DRs between drawings and push out changes via Project Standards, it was no longer worth the time it would take to update the routines for each new release. You might want to contact him and see if he has updated the routines for 2007 [it could simply require setting the right reference files - or it could be way more involved].
