    Default Close command line, permanently

i am using Autocad 2006LT with drcauto toolkit max add on. I like to work with the command line closed but my problem is that it reopens up everytime i start a new drawing or open a drawing. Is there a way to stop this and for it to stay closed at all times? Thanks.

I don't use LT, but can you make the command line float? If so you should be able to make it autohide as well.

    Just a thought.

    Hi

Have you looked at system variable CLISTATE

Am I correct in thinking "drcauto toolkit max" gives AutoCAD LT AutoLISP support?

If yes, you could check the setting of CLISTATE, then act accordingly ( depending on returned value ).

    Have a good one, Mike

    Hi

    CLISTATE

0 - Command Line is hidden
1 - Command Line is displayed

Therefore with a bit of AutoLISP you can check the setting of CLISTATE, if equal to 0 do nothing, if equal to 1 do something...

    Have a good one, Mike
