Cycle through nested viewports in a Layout

Good evening,

I made the mistake of nesting a small viewport inside the boundaries of a larger viewport, and when I went to model space and tried to pick the smaller nested viewport it kept defaulting to the larger viewport.
Is there a way to cycle through the viewports on a layout?
My work around was to go to paper space and stretch one edge of the smaller viewport outside of the larger ons boundaries.
