    Default Crop Region Issue

I created new elevation views in order to dimension my curtain wall windows (as a window schedule). My issue is now I cannot seem to "Crop Out" the new elevation tags in plan view (see attached PDF). I have already set up a crop region, with the new elevation tags OUTSIDE the region. When I add the plan views to my sheets, I can still see the extra elevation tags I created, which is no good.

    Any tips or some such?

    Thanks!

You have to right click on the tag and select hide annotation in view. all views(sections, elevations) that intersect a crop region will show up, so in your case part of the elevation (the actual elevation cut plane) is visible in your plan view, so you see the tag.

I'm afraid I dont find this option when I right click the elevation tag in a plan view. Is this found under the VISIBILITY ("VG") setting?

    Its a little tricky:
For elevations you need to right click on the elevation symbol...NOT the arrow marker
For Sections you need to right click on the section LINE.

I got it! I had to zoom in relatively close to the elevation symbol in order for the right click trick to work.

    I'm a happy camper now!!

Another thing to remember is that if the elevation cut plane is outside of the crop region, the elevation symbol will not display, no matter where it is. Good to know when you start to pull your hair out trying to figure out where that dad-blasted elevation symbol ran off to!
