    Default Network Attached Storage (NAS)

I was wondering if any Revit users out there have been successfully using a Networked Attached Storage device with Windows Storage Server 2003?

See this link for an example:

With the increased demand on network storage caused by numerous factors including Revit, to me it seems like a good way to go. Our existing server is running fine with W2K Server, just getting full on the hard drives (80GB Raid 1).

Rather than mess with the existing server I was thinking that a NAS would be the better choice. My biggest concern is how Revit and the NAS behave when it comes to Central files. How does Revit use the operating system with respect to worksets?

    Any advice will be appreciated.

We use 2 Terrabyte storage devices attached to our server. This way all our info gets backed up properly.
