Linking fields

Is there a way to link field together automatically without having to pick the object each time you insert it?
I have a block that we use for our onelines that has an attribute that shows the page its going to and id number of the block. On the other page we have the page its the first block is coming from and the same id number. Right now I insert the blocks and I have to link them together every time I use them. What is the best way to do this? I have attached a pdf that shows the blocks and the block with the exploded attribute.

Could you not do this with Label and Callout Blocks via Sheet Set Manager...

Or am I missing exactly what it is you are trying to accomplish ( most probably ).
