Just finished my first "Real" set of plans. Here is the Elevation, just looking for some constructive criticism on it. Thanks

The hatching is too overpowering - especially the stonework.
I would set the hatch shading to a lighter grey colour and if possible use less of it - perhaps just some small filled areas here and there.
Change the roof hatch as it seems too much like vertical tiling and not like a sloping roof. Also the dormer roof to the left of the main gable is hardly visible against the roof behind it.
Try thickening some outlines to define the main edges
Thanks for the suggestions. I actually didn't like the roof hatch I used but it was all I could find inside Revit. What I wanted to use was an asphalt shingle. I also agree with your Dormer comment. As for the stone work hatch I guess I don't quite understand how to use less of it. It's not actually hatched but an actual material assigned to my wall I've created. I was going to post the 3d view and forgot to, but when I get back in the Office on Tuesday I will. Thanks again for your thoughts. Merry Christmas.
I'm doing a similar roof. How did you do the flair outs at the eaves?
Also would you be willing to share your shutter family. I doing that type shutter too. Thanks in advance.

Then choose roof by extrusion, be sure to to change your roof properties to the roof you want to use and just sketch it to the way you want it. With an extrusion roof however it won't be a closed loop. It will be an open triangle or what ever shape you use. The line you sketch is the top of the roof. My shutters I've actually already posted in the general forum some where. If you do a search for shutters you'll probably find it. I also posted it on www.revitcity.com

Hey it looks really nice, good modelling...
I agree, use a grey color for all of the texture patter except for maybe the stucco.
What is going on with the peak timber and the one to the right (tallest dormer on the left side). The timber looks centered but the ridge of that dormer is off a little.
If you use another hatch for the roof, scale it down so it fits right.
Last thing, you show a door elevation swing but none for any of the windows, I always turn all those off (windows and door). Not sure if you meant to leave that on or just over looked it.
Nice job, Merry Christmas!
Would love to design something like this the ultimate way
English castle style with large gardens, and a huge property.
It´s so demanding work to finish, and you are on the road forward.
Is this just a misplaced building on a small property, or something greater.
