    Default Model past its end

I get this error when attempting to open a model. Any ideas or tech support? Happy Holidays to all and thanks for all the great help.

thats a corrupted file. was it copied from a cd or somehow zipped or download or when saving a network connection was lost, etc. you'll need to send it in but its not good.

The message means that Revit is expecting to find more data in the file than is actually there. I've had this happen once or twice and would dearly like to know if it's something that can be prevented and how.

This happened to me once when I was saving to central and Revit crashed: I guess the write hadn't completed and it ended up wrecking the central file (which was several Mb short of its previous size). But the rest of the time it's been on single-user files where Revit did NOT crash and everything seemed fine until you tried to open the file again later.

wow that sucks, it's never happened to me, hope it never does. I assume journal files could help there if you have a .00xx.rvt file from the day before or something?
