Default Can't move geometry from point to coord

I used to use this several times a day, ever since 1987. I want to move a bunch of geometry to a real world coordinate. My first point may be an osnap point, the second point I want to type in, say 0,0.

Autocad 2006 appears to have taken away the ability to do this. Why should I have to know the "displacement" first? It looks as if I now have to build geometry with a snap point at the desired location before I can move my existing geometry to that location. This is a tedious, time consuming, extra step.

Any tips on how to do this quicker the "2006" way?
