    Default Rotate viewport

I want to rotate my view port view so I see my model at 90 Degrees
and have the model stay as is.
How do I rotate the view port view.?

    I got it....
To rotate a view using MVSETUP

At the Command prompt, enter mvsetup.
    Enter a (Align).
Enter r to rotate the view.
Select the viewport with the view you want to rotate.
Specify a base point for the rotation.
    Specify the rotation angle.
The entire view rotates within the viewport

The other option is to use the _dview command from the layout tab with the viewport active (mspace), select the view, block or what ever, and use the TWist option. I just got done with a project where I needed to use this, and I loved it.

I use this all the time, but use an older (maybe easier or harder, depending on you)method. I draw moving the ucs to create elevations and sections looking at the plan, without shifting the plan. When in paper space, I click into the view I want to change, type ucs/enter/z/enter then pick a line left to right under the view I want, then type plan/enter/enter. Then I just adjust the scale. Seems very quick to me.

Yes me too, I wrote a lisp routine to create named views that can be recalled through the view port (similar to what you're talking about).
See this thread for the routine and more discussion on the subject.
