    Hi

Have you looked at using the AutoCAD command ETransmit ?

If you sure about wanting to embed an Image inside an AutoCAD drawing file, take a look at the following posts...

Problems inserting a logo in a drawing

    RE: Removing a link

RE: Save dwg with attached image name

Hint - you may want to spend the time and read the actual threads that the above posts belong to.

Disclaimer: Embedding Image file inside AutoCAD drawing files can lead to huge! drawing file size, plus in some cases can lead to drawing file corruption.

    Have a good one, Mike

Do you mean you want to embed the image into the DWG file? If so, see: http://rkmcswain.blogspot.com/2005/0...er-images.html (Updated URL = http://cadpanacea.com/wp/?p=1402)

If you just want your recipient to be able to see the image without embedding the image or using eTransmit, just zip up both files (without using paths in the zip file), and then tell your recipient to extract both files to the same directory. As long as the image is in the same directory are the DWG, it will be "found" regardless of the saved path.
