Default Already zoomed out as far as possible

When using scroll on mouse in/out the dwg reports "All ready zoomed out as far as possible". Zoom real-time still works but slows functionality. Attempts to Regen, zoomed extents, zoom scale...etc tips have not remedied the problem. Who knows the corrective action for this problem? Running drawing recover finds no errors. Tried wireless and usb mouse. Zoom real-time still works but slows functionality.

Try the undocumented suboption _V of the ZOOM command.

By the way, does it happen only on a particular drawing, or always?

Same here, each time I regen I can scroll out a little more. Probably related to the system variables EXTMAX & EXTMIN. They store the upper-right & lower-left points of the drawing extents. Expands outward as new objects are drawn; shrinks only with ZOOM All or ZOOM Extents. May also be a limit of our video cards.

There should never be any objects outside of that so it shouldn't be a issue very often.

it's that or you have annotative stuff it needs to regen. Sadly I actually had to turn off my "hardware acceleration" option just to have a better and more stable performance. Talk about a waste of money. Even the Autodesk site said my video card was certified for C3D.

Have you tried using RegenAll? Another thing you can check is in Options - Cache - change this to Cache last active layout to speed things up.
