    Default rendering glass issue.

I have a rendering problem with my curtainwall. I have used the Daylight button in my interior 3D view to have the windows allow light into the space, but my curtainwall system does not seem to be doing the same thing. is there an instance or type parameter I am missing?

Not sure if this is your issue or not, but ive noticed after making a curtainwall, under its properties, there is no panel selected. Then after i select a panel, its material is not set to *glass* or whatever other transparent material you are using.

My curtainwalls always render gray until i assign the panel material to glass...

Once you select to use daylight, you did select the curtain wall as a day light source, correct? (It will outline itself in red). If not, Select the daylight option, then select each object you want to be a daylight source. Note if you select it twice it will turn it back off (no longer a daylight source). Try that. I've also had issues (no daylight effect) where there was no light on in an interior. For some reason, you MUST have one light in the scene for daylighting to work - unless someone else corrects me..

I'm stupid, my sun location had not been modified. The sun was coming from the north and the curtainwall was on the south side. Once I relocated the sun per my site location in Columbus it ended up showing.

Chalk one up to user error......
