Default Short cut commands at the command line... display "Unknown Command"

everytime i try using short cut commands at the command line... it displays "Unknown Command." for example... if i type "l" for line, it displays it as an unknown command..

but if i type the whole word for the command, it works fine.

    what had happened?

Make sure your acad.pgp file is in one of the support file search paths in Options. It is usually in the "...\Support" directory.

You could check if AutoCAD is finding your PGP file. If it is then you need to find out if those alias exist in the file.

A quick way to check would be to type REINIT, check the "pgp file" box, click Okay and see if you get an error message.
