Howdy y'all,
Here's one I haven't seen before: are there resources out there that show the turning radius of a forklift, including nosing and chording? If it differs between models, is there a resource for the different models?

Hi Doug
Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD General forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

It's in metric, but it has a pretty good group of turning radii

I've played with AutoTurn before. From what I recall it is possible to create cutom vehicles, including wheel locations and determining which wheels articulate..Originally Posted by Augi Doggie
That's good. That's a start. Thanks.Originally Posted by Dilbert
I've found out a little more about what the engineer needs. What I want to find is the carrying capacity, fork length, and maneuverability. The engineer is trying to plan for an equipment room with some pieces that are 10'x12', and up to 20,000 lbs. Ultimately, I'd like to see a diagram of a forklift with the turn radius.
BTW: never let an electrical engineer try architecture.

BTW, Doug. I have a 3d solid model of a generic FLT if you would like a copy.
