Can someone tell me what would be a good computer hardware set up to run 2006 ABS? Seems like I hear about all kinds of variations other than what the software bundle recommends.

Autodesk's website has hardware recommendations. 2 GB RAM is a good idea, and a beefy video card. You might find is useful to put off hardware decisions for a month or two, given traditional release cycles.
