    Angry Shortcuts ceased to work

    Hi,
    I have a strange happening.

Command line entries have ceased to work unless entered in full
eg M for Move, RO for Rotate and CO for Copy.

In 6 years of Autocad I have not had this happen to me - what has happened and how do I get them back?

    Thanks

Question Re: Command Shortcut keys have ceased to work

    Hi

First I would recommend checking, is your Acad.pgp file being loaded.

At the AutoCAD Command Line type the following...

    Code:
    Command: (findfile "Acad.pgp")
    What is returned ?

    Have a good one, Mike

    Hi

Open this file in a "Plain" ASCII Text Editor.

Are the Copy, Move, Rotate, etc commands correctly defined there with their corresponding quick-keys ?

I've had this happen before with one of my laptops. I fixed it with bringing back one of my back up ACAD.pgp files. As much as I could figure something got corrupted but I could never fix it looking line by line.
Also should not mgb3's path read "C:\Documents and Settings\mgb3\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2004\R16.0\enu\support\Acad.pgp". Notice on the earlier post the \\ we're used.

    Hi

Nope! seeing the LISP function "findfile" was being used to return the path.

Smile Re: Command Shortcut keys have ceased to work

Well I tried a reboot yesterday to no avail but after starting up this morning all my commands are back and working again, and I no longer need to fiddle.

Perhaps somethings to do with the network and network profile?

    Thanks for your help folks.

    Matt
