I was thinking...nobody ever advised a Tutorial space?

Many forums have often a dedicated space....Why don't create one which everyone can contribute? Isn't it useful?

Could be something we could look at in the future.

It would be hard to beat Revit's own tuts and Cyril's books though.

We would need to concentrate on more esoteric aspects of the program probably... like RUGIs tutorial on making parametric trusses for instance.

I think he is referring more to having a location on this site to store/share tutorials. A good idea in my book!

It appears to me that beegee understood kafka's request. I think he was merely trying to point out that there are a lot of existing tutorials available from other sources so there might not be a big enough need for a separate forum here. I think if it can be demonstrated that there is enough of a demand then they would consider adding such a forum. Perhaps a poll should be added to this thread.

I think that Tips & Tricks is a source for the "esoteric" aspects of the program. Maybe this could be expanded to include the more "mundane" aspects of the program.

We have been / are considering an FAQ forum which would probably encompass the more mundane aspects....

FAQ forum sounds useful. There are a number of questions that seem to get asked repeatedly. Although, I'm not sure how many duplicate posts this will really eliminate, since the "post first, search later" impulse is awfully hard to resist.
