    Default Converting a 3D line to a 2D ISO

    Plain ACAD 2005 full.
I have a pipe which has a difficult routing. I want to draw an ISO for this line.
So i draw the 3D line of this pipe which i post here, with the current view as the view i want to use for my ISO.
Now i want this converted to a 2D drawing.

Is this possible, and can anyone help me with this?

    No problem

Type the command UCS, then N for New, then V for view.

You can then create a paper space layout using the current UCS

Alternatively you can 'flatten' (make all Z values =0) using a suitable lisp routine.

Alternatively you could leave the 3D object in the 2D drawing. (Not everything in a 2D needs to be 2D)

I cannot correctly dimension ny ISO this way.

That's not correct, i don't want to make all the Z values 0, i want to flatten my VIEW (or any view) make all Z=0 will only make the top view look correct.

    Same as first point

All i need is a realy 2D drawing that looks like my 3D drawings current view.

    Tnx, johan

    College here found it...

    Install DXB acad plotter
    Set the view you want
    make a plot (DXB extension)
    make a new drawing
    insert the dxb-file (dxbin)

    see result in attach
