I'm trying to create a couple of things in 3D with AutoCAD: Screws and springs. I have worked with 3D before, but I'm am not able to figure out how to spiral a profile... any suggestions?

This should help. It used to be supplied as a sample with older versions of autocad.

Plus, try plugging the following search criteria into the forum search facility ( hint - limit your search to this actual forum "AutoCAD 3D" )...
Key Word(s): *Spiral*
*Helix*
As an example here is a post that was found by using the above search criteria...
