Default Get back old style Text dialog box

Why did they do away with the text dialog box found in Cad 2002?

to get it back, or at least close to it, change your mtexted system variable to oldeditor.

You can actually skip the setvar command, and just type MTEXTED at the command line, and then at the prompt type OLDEDITOR.

I did this and lost all the extra's. I thought it would go back to the box that popped up. So to make it go back to the editor, at the command line type "mtexted" then "internal" to go back.
