    Default Background Mask Plotting

Background mask plots and I don't want it to plot. Does anyone know how to remedy this? I did a search on background mask and all that I could find was how to invoke the background mask. I use the drawing background as my default, but when I print I see little dots where the mask is. Please help!

I did see that post and I did not think that applied to my issue, we use a OCE TDS600. The background mask works as well as wipeout, my problem is: the masked area shows small dots that would represent the background mask.

What driver are you using? We have a TDS800, using a HP750C driver, and background mask works fine. (Lines Merge turned OFF in driver)

so, the background masking does not work if Lines Merge is turned on? I've been wondering why it doesn't work.... it seemed like the perfect answer till first plot when i first tried it for my self... ah well.
