AutoCAD LT 2006 - Toolbars do not show up when placed via CUI

Hi group ( I see there is just one other person in this group online right now!). I have a pretty basic question. I own ACAD LT from about 1996, and am very familiar with ACAD R14. AFter taking acollege course in 2004 in that release, to update myself, I bought 2006LT 2 months ago. I am having trouble customizing my toolbars. 2006 is different from 2004 in this. I have gone to the CUI window, selected the extra toolbars I want in my interface, given them a docked position, hit APPLY and OK. They don't show up anywhere. Conversely when, as a test, I try to hide one of the std toolbars by the same method, it stays showing. I somehow solved this problem when I first installed 2006, but had to unisntall/reinstall this morning, and lost all my settings. Can't remember what I did right last time!

Ann,
I'm not completely familiar with LT, but do you have the option to create a workspace?
If this is the case, you should be able to open the CUI and create a workspace, then select the modify workspace button on top right, then add toolbars there.

NEVER MIND. I found it! right click on any displayed toolbar and check the ones you want and then dock them!
