    Default Upper Casework Height

With this forum's help, I was able to create a parameter in my upper cabinet family, that let's me have a choice in the project to turn off/on the "task light lip" for a particular upper cabinet. Much thanks for that. However, when I turn off the "task light lip" on my project for an upper cabinet, the height does not stay at the parameter height. It should be 7'. When I uncheck that parameter, the case work shifts down the height of the "task light lip". I need my upper cabinets to stay at the contrained height of 7' to top of cab. Here is one of the family. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try this one. I added a reference line along the Level line and dimensioned the height ot he reference line.

    irusun,

thanks, that worked. funny thing though. i changed the name to what it was before, then reloaded it in my project and the casework disappeared from the project, i would have to go in and re-add them in. Has this happen to you or anyone else before?

Are you sure they disappeared? The height of them may have changed (i.e. they may be outside the view)?
