Default Using 3DClip command in AutoCAD 2004

Using AutoCAD 2004 and the 3dclip command, the clip window does not show the model and always hides the model compleatly when the back clip is on. When I try to move the back clip the front clip line disapears and I can not get it back. I have used 2005 in the past and had no trouble with this. Is there a secreat to using it with 2004?

Question Re: Using 3DClip command in AutoCAD 2004

    Hi

Using the exact same drawing file, do you experience the above issue / problem in AutoCAD 2005 or is it only an issue / problem in AutoCAD 2004 ?

    Have a good one, Mike

I used AutoCAD 2005 at a different company so I don't know if these files would react differently on 2005.

    Hi

Is it possible to post an example drawing file; them someone here can test the file in AutoCAD 2005 or 2006 for you.

I don't have 2004 installed but when I tried it in AutoCAD 2007 I had no problem with the clipping except that all but the bottom left view I had to move the back plane because it was infront of the model.

    Hi

Same results as Jimmy, using AutoCAD 2005.

Unhappy Re: Using 3DClip command in AutoCAD 2004

Looks like I'm stuck with the bad clip controls until Bentley/Rebus gets around to updating their software to work with the updated versions of AutoCAD (I also miss the text editor and the "between two points")
