I can't customize my keyboard

I use Keyboard Customization for my OSnaps but for some reason with 2006 when I bring up the "customize" box there is only 1 tab and it is for palettes. Even when I go through the pull-down menus (TOOLS>CUSTOMIZE>KEYBOARD) I get the same dialogue box for palettes only....Any ideas?

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD 2006 CUI Menus forum to this one...

Why? - As you are using an Autodesk 2006 product, I believe such customization is carried out via the CUI interface.

If I have that wrong, I will happily correct the action I have taken.

Are you right clicking on the tool palette? If so, try right clicking a toolbar and selecting customize to get to the CUI editor.

A couple of questions:

What happens when you type "CUI" (without the quotes) at the command prompt? Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the editor to come up.

Are you using plain Autocad, or do you have add-on (vertical or otherwise) software that runs with it?

Another thought: although your issue isn't specifically listed, I would try the CUI update found HERE if you haven't already. Be sure to read the readme file.
