Default Access long side and short side info of an Ellipse-resolved

i have a part that has an elliptical cutout in the center
the cutout will vary depending on pipe size and angle

i have a template drawing with the plate with an elliptcal cutout
also have a program to calc the cutout

what i need is to know how i can access the long side and short side info for the ellipse

    Hello rwbaker54,

Exactly what info are you needing from the long/short sides of the ellipse?
Major & minor radius info is already given (along with the axis vectors), so I assume you need the arc lengths??
I'm also curious about what program you are using to calc the cutout.

    thanks for the reply
I have figured what i needed to do to change/update the major and minor axis
    of the ellipse.

ellipse opng is calced based on nozzle size and angle
