Default Toolbar button macro repeats last command first

I have created a Tool Bar Button with the following macro:

    ^C^C^C -lman;restore;plot;preview

    I tried to test it.

I froze a layer, click the button macro, and it wants to run the freeze layer command again. If I reload my drop down menus and run the macro it works fine.

Why does it want to run the freeze command again at the beginning of the macro?
Why should I have to reload my drop down menus to run a Tool Bar Button macro?

After your ^C^C^C, you have a space. If you remove that space, your problem should go away.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

    Hi Steve

I realise you have you answer, but please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD General forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

Steve, I know you got the answer already but please be wary about the fact that a space trailing after the macro will cause a return too.

This is a common mistake people make all the time.
