    ATP103 (January 2006) - Sometime in May 2006.

Currently on the Current ATP Courses page:

You might want to check out the AUGI CAD Camps they could have one in your area later this year.

Also check through the AutoDesk University Handouts and Augi Training Program Archives. Both of those are free resources.

Talking Re: AutoCAD training suggestions for a newbie

hi! Welcome to AUGI! congrats on making your first post.

I'd go with Mike and augi doggie's suggestions for the wonderful and FREE resources augi offers, but, I'll also throw in that if there isn't a CADcamp near you, you can likely pay and get a couple day advanced class using the newest releases through an autodesk authorized reseller in your area.

Since you're not working in a specific field yet, these would likely be best, since they cover general topics and familiarity with commonly used features.

    Good luck!

You might also want to try some of the tips and tutorials on Charles Bliss' website (www.cbliss.com) or Sean Dotson's site (www.sdotson.com). They have great stuff there as well as links to other sites with a wealth of resources. Don't worry, you're headed in the right direction.
