I agree it could use a boost, but I'm still amazed at how fast it is given that it is almost always working in hidden line mode for all views. Put the same 3D with hatches in ADT and it chokes in hidden line mode..Originally Posted by taylor.71590
Make sure OpenGL is on and Overlay Planes are off in Settings > Options > Graphics. If these settings don't work with your video card, get a different card. I would recommend the ATI FireGL T2-128 for AGP users and V3100 for PCI-E users.Originally Posted by taylor.71590
That's the card I have as well as 2 gigs of ram and it still is slow. I am talking about "true open GL" like in many rendering apps.Originally Posted by Wes Macaulay
We'll see... I hope so. You mean you've heard something about exporting to MAX?Originally Posted by Archman
I was using Accurender full edition, with AutoCAD and I was very happy to have it too because it was easy and very fast. It is a matter of competition and quality. If you take a look of misc CG forums, new render samples etc you will see that Accurender is left behind a little.Originally Posted by Archman
You 'd still be paid for Maxwell, I was just wishing for a plugin exporting MXS. I own a copy of M~R too and I am very happy with it (Well, there is a matter of delay though...)Originally Posted by Andre Baros
I agree that Modeling and analysis come first
How's this for a really down to earth wish? Having sicked DWF Writer on us, and tried to sell us on the benefits of the format why not give us roundtripping from DWF Composer so that we can see markups and respond to them as you can in AutoCAD?
As with the site tools I find real frustration in being given a tool which then seems to be fundamentally crippled!
ONLY 1 WISH - True support for multi-unit project types. We all know groups don't cut it and cause extreme performance problems even when they are working.
