Sorry Ashish, I'm not quite understanding you, are you asking how to set the text height/style of dimensions?

    Hi Ashish

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the Local User Groups forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

    Hi Ashish,
I thought when you are edit the dimstyle, you could set the height of the text so as the style of the text? say for example. when you modify a dimstyle called A, the text style, say tahoma50, but you set the text size to 100, the text will automatically become tahoma style with 100 height. as long as you choose the set the right style of text under the text style command, they should comes out the same.
hope if that would help you at all.

    regards
    Vince

If you are only using one text style in the drawing, check and make sure the Style height is set to 0. If your text style has a height defined in it, it will override the dimension and mtext settings.

If you are using multiple styles, different styles for different heights, follow Vince's advice.

    ASHISH,

I guess your situation arises when you have views in diffferent scales, and you want the text to match from one view to the other. To my knowledge, the only way to change leader text to a match different dimstyle is to create another leader in the new style and then use "match properties" to resize the text. It's not the best way, as other properties, like the text justification, etc. also have to match.

I have come to do my dimensions in model space through the viewport windows in paper space; In the "fit" tab of the dimension style manager I set to "scale dimensions to layout", then I lock the viewport (MV>Lock>On>pick) so I can zoom freely without change the viewport scale, I enter model space through the given viewport, and the dimension are automatically scaled. It take a little of the guesswork out of matching your dimension through out a layout. You may be able to use a single dimension style for all scales.

I'm not sure if this addresses your problem, but hope it helps.
