Fatal error message when choosing properties

Each time I double click on an item in my drawing for Properties, or I right click and choose properties through the pull down menu, It causes a fatal error.
I had been out of town down in Atlanta, Ga. for the last 6 weeks, and I know some of the project mgrs have used my autocad station, but so far no one is fessing up to messing around with it...however it was working fine before I left.
Anyone else come across issues like this? will it take a reinstall of CAD to fix?

Does this problem occur within all drawing files or just the odd few ?

Have you tried "Reset" the AutoCAD profile back to its "default", just to see if that clears up the problem ?
