Question Is there an update for doctabs for use with AutoCAD2007 ?

Dose anybody know if there is a update for doctabs for use with AutoCAD2007 ?

This was a very useful tool that i used in connection with AutoCAD 2006.
Drawing tabs place navigation tabs at the bottom of the ACAD edit window. The tabs are present whenever you have two or more drawings open at the same time.To navigate from one drawing to another all you have to do is select the appropriate tab.

    Please see the attached gif.

In 2k5 there was a command TASKBAR that would put tabs for each drawing. Don't know if that went the way of the Dodo or not thought.

It's still there, but I have yet to see anyone who likes to clutter up the taskbar with a button for *each drawing*

    DocBar [ http://www.cadwerx.net/Products/DocBar20/CxDocBar.asp ] is 2007 ready.

Dotsoft's DWGSTRIP is 2007 ready also (at least as part of ToolPac - http://www.dotsoft.com/toolpac.htm ) - not sure about the standalone freebie found at http://www.dotsoft.com/freestuff.htm

You might want to contact the author of Drawing Tabs [ http://www.caelink.com/cae-link.htm ] to find out about their plans to support 2007. Same for AcadXTabs [ http://www.caddzone.com/acadxtabs/index.htm ]

~waves to be seen~ I used to use docbar, as it's obviously a very nifty thing, but, now I just use taskbar... not saying it's the best way, it's just what I do.

Hi "pkennedy.71515" ( Sorry, I do not know your real name )

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Tips & Tricks forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike
