Question Lock visibility state once Dynamic Block has been inserted

Very new to this thing and have a question.

Is it possible to lock, or make it difficult to change the visibility state of a dynamic block once it has been inserted and the correct visibility has been chosen?

We are thinking about using these for model geometry, but don't want inadvertant surprises.
