    Default clipping plane

Can anyone explain why I can't find and adjust the location of the clipping plane in plan view? In prior versions, when the elevation mark was picked, a highlighted line indicated where the clipping plane cuts across the model and you could drag it where you wanted. Now in 8.1 the highlighted line doesn't show up.

    Thanks for the help!

The Far Clip setting is turned off for that particular elevation view. Open the properties for that elevation view and turn on the check box for the Far Clip plane and you'll be able to see it in plan. You may have to zoom way out to bring the clip plane into view so you can drag it to where you want it.
