    Post Multiline Path LISP

I have been trying to find a routine that will allow you to define a mline with pline that has arcs. It for creating a water main and sewer that has a greater dia. then 30". The engineer wants it to appear double line.

I know most people hate mlines to do this, but I prefer it, mainly for the ability to update the edges and center line all at the same time without making a selection set. however, I have never had to use it to create a line that is over 5 mi long.

    What I am looking for:
-Define a path with a pline
-Cut the mline in 18' or 20' sections along the arc connecting end to end and at the furthest end before going to a straight connecting to the end point of the arc.

If I can't find it I might just have to write it at home then bringing it to work for use since I don't have the time to do it at work.

    Any suggestions?

I don't know of any routine at the moment.

What would be the maximum deflection angle allowed?

    1.5 for dip per UDACS.

The radii on this roadway are so large I really don't have to worry about passing the 1.5 we are talking 2K-3K feet.

But it would be nice to include if you are starting from scratch. If you have to use the routine on smaller radii, you would not have to fix the lisp to take that into account.

The smallest allowable radii is actually large in itself at 765' minimum for dip.
