    Default More Disciplines

Problem: too many views in Project Browser as the project evolves and becomes more complex with different sorts of views required for differnent disciplines by different users. For example : Interior Design, Mechanical, Electrical etc.

Idea: If you could add more Disciplines to view properties instead of just Architectural, Structural and Coordination, you can then use them to filter your browser views, to reduce the number of views in the Browser

You can add shared parameters to views and sheets to allow this kind of filtering. I have been using this system to get rid of detail views and M&E when doing redesign work. Keeps it down to the key views. This is more flexible than 'Discipline' alone because you can add several shared parameters and essentially have a matrix of views filtered.

    Thanks Peter,

That's exactly what I needed to do! I didn' t realise shared parameters could be applied to views!
