Different fonts have started showing up as default AutoCAD fonts

Having problems with fonts. Using Architext without problems, however suddenly fonts started showing up as defalt autocad fonts. Once I restart the program, fonts show up correctly until I open another file or two in which all open files start showing up (and printing) in defalt font. Already tried auditing and purging files to no avail. The problem seems to be getting worse, any suggestions?
