Default Theme Colors for Space Plannning

I have created a theme to color code different program types in my floor plan.

The intent is to save time in producing presentation drawings.

The problem I’m having is that the perimeter lines of the spaces are turning the same color as the hatch (which is defined by the theme).

Since walls haven’t been added at this preliminary stage the rooms bleed together.

My goal is to change the perimeter lines to a color that would print as black.

Is there an object display configuration I could set to achieve this? Or any other trick?

    Hi

    Are you saying...

The perimeter lines and the hatch colour are currently the same AutoCAD Colour ?

Is it possible to post an example drawing file, they say a picture is worth a thousand words...

    Have a good one, Mike

    Mike,

As you can see from the attachment, once the theme is associated to the space, the original color of the space (black) takes on the color of the theme.

Is there a way to keep the black color of the space separate from the theme?

When the presentation is plotted out the space colors bleed together and makes it hard to distinguish between the different areas.

Especially when the spaces are of a like color.

Check out ATP100 - it may be of use to you.

    Steve,

I would like to check out ATP100 however; the link to it will not allow me to download the .zip file. Any suggestions?

    Hi

Can you please post an actual DWG file.

What version of AutoCAD are you using ?

Please explain how you associated the theme to the space ie What procedures do you go through...

    Have a good one, Mike

    Hi

    Thanks for the heads-up.

I have just sent a message to the ATP Manager ( Eric Wing ), making him aware of the issue / problem.

I am sure Eric will rectify the issue / problem as soon as possible.
